A Nice Reissue Now On Champion Records U.K.

Liquid Gold's debut was originally released in 1979 on Polo Records (U.K.) and Parachute Records (U.S.) and now has been reissued on Champion Records (U.K.) for 2008. What makes this reissue different from the original U.S. album is that neither Don't Panic, The Night, The Wine And The Roses, Substitute or Dance Yourself Dizzy were included on the American version. However, all were available as individual extended versions on Polo Records. The U.K. version of My Baby's Baby is different from the American version which was remixed by Ritchie Rivera. On this reissue we get the mostly short versions with the exceptions being Dance Yourself Dizzy included as the 12 inch mix, My Baby's Baby and Could Be Tonight. This is classic late seventies, early eighties disco at it's best. Just for the record, several of the members of the band including female singer Ellie Hope were in the British rock band Babe Ruth at one time.

Great album

This is a little known band that came out to late, But in the disco era you cant go wrong with this album. Mr, Groovy is my fav.
