Another Great Old School Sounding Album

Daniel Merriweather is easily one of my favorite artists. "Love & War" is a great soul sounding album that resembles the old school days, but it also has it's own raw goodness. Very much like 60's R&B meets today's genre bending music making. Some must have tracks from this album are "For Your Money," "Chainsaw," "Red," "Water & A Flame," and "Giving Everything Away for Free." If you like James Morrison, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Raphael Saadiq, and other artists with that kind of flare, you definitely need to check this guy out. But seriously... the entire album is great.

Great album

Water and a flame is amazing!!!! if nothing else check that song out.

Quality Album

I've had the album since the UK release. Just purchased it again. Quality. Soulful. It has a very Motown-esque feel to me. If you enjoy Mayer Hawthorne's music this in the same alley. I won't say they're exactly reminiscent but they are similar.
