Stellar new versions of Toad's greatest hits

Let's get this out of the way first: yes, it's basically a greatest hits album, but re-recorded so the original songwriters/performers have the rights again (Aren't licensing issues grand?) While they're not EXACTLY the versions you know, they all sound terrific and in a few cases (Windmills, Brother, Something's Always Wrong) even sound better 15-20 years later.
If you're a newcomer to Toad, All You Want is a great place to start. If you're a longtime fan, buying this album is a great way to support the artists!

Amazing Gift for Toad Fans

Going back and re-recording some of their greatest songs, to be faithful to the original studio recording that the fans know and love, but with the improvement and benefit of hindsight, current studio technology, and the craftsmanship of a slightly older and wiser band WITH the added benefit that the band now owns the master recordings outright is sheer genius. More bands should take a cue and follow suit.

A an amazing treat for ears and your soul.

I'm so happy to hear this re-recording of one of my favorite records ever. Glen Phillips is one of the most prolific and heart-felt songwriters of my generation. If you have never listened to Toad the Wet Sprocket, buy this immediately and you will LOVE it.

Singer Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning (the nephew of '50s hitmaker Mark "Teen Angel" Dinning), and drummer Randy Guss formed the group in 1986 in their native...
