iTunes Review

Visionary producer Adrian Sherwood has been among the most important figures in English reggae since he appeared on the scene in the late ‘70s, producing deeply experimental dub with the band Creation Rebel and forging ties between reggae musicians and the more musically adventurous figures on the London punk scene. In 1982 he founded his own imprint, On-U Sound, and began releasing a deluge of exceptional work by artists like African Head Charge, Bim Sherman, Prince Far I, and Dub Syndicate, a loose association of musicians centered around Sherwood and former Creation Rebel drummer Style Scott.
