a well put together cd every song is just pure brilliance

I found out about this band through myspace, and was attracted to them by comparisons to Ween and Silver Jews (two of my favorite bands). I later found out that the guy from Entourage is in the band (one of my favorite shows). Sure enough the album rocked, and was really worth the ten bucks. If you like good Indie with country influences, you'll dig the Honey Brothers.

I had low expectations... BUT was plesantly surprised!

Yes, I was led to this because I googled Adrian G. Sue me. What I will say is this- I listened to this highly entertaining, amusing, and well put together album and thought "this doesn't sound like that typical celebrity-in-a-band crap". I mean, it sure as hell doesn't sound like Don Johnson or Bruce Willis for chrissakes. Seriously, it may not be the best thing I own or listen to, but I love that "Some of Them Are Nice Days" song. You should also check the video out at myspace- it's very funny.

The Honey Brothers were formed in late 2001 by Dory Honey (aka Andrew Vladeck) on banjo, Carl Honey (aka D.S. Posner) on guitar, and Hoyt Honey (aka Ari Gold)...
