Album Review

The second long-player from hard rock supergroup Kill Devil Hill (drummer Vinny Appice [Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell], bassist Rex Brown [Pantera], guitarist Mark Zavon, and vocalist Jason Bragg), the Century Media-issued Revolution Rise, like its 2012 eponymous predecessor, offers up a hard-hitting set of post-grunge-infused, Pantera- and Dio-influenced rockers that manage to pay homage to their influences while introducing a whole new flavor profile to the genre. Road tested and honed, the 11-track collection, which was produced by the band and Jeff Pilson, and mixed by Jay Ruston, dutifully reflects Kill Devil Hill's rich history, as well as their considerable chemistry.

Nothing but the best

Yes yes yes this album rocks buy it NOWWWWW...

eh... it's ok

I want to like this band....I really do but for some reason I just can't get into this lead singers voice. Even their first cd lacked something in my opinion, although it did have one or two decent tracks and I was looking forward to a better sophmore album but that isn't the case here. The band sounds great but the vocals are just blah and every song sounds the same.

Really love these guys

They really do metal proud
