A few years too late

This sounds like it could've been released in 2005/06 as one of the Eric Prydz "Call On Me" clones... it pulls the same trick as that track, as well as Uniting Nations "Out of Touch" and Supermode (Axwell) "Tell Me Why" ... all great tracks, but nothing innovative here. This gimmick and sound was done to death 5 years ago. This track also loses points for never paying off the melody... it truncates the lyric too soon. Would be much more pleasing to the ear if they used more of the original lyrics from the sample to allow the vocal melody to be complete.

I'm still buying this though, as it's a hot track!

Oh, and for the kids... go have a listen to Brenda Russell "Piano In the Dark" :)

house at its finest... amazing summer anthem....too bad it's not summer anymore. thanks itunes.

Disappointing mixing

Usually a big Olav Basoski fan but his mix of this is too much boring filler and not enough 'song.' The single version is the best sounding excluding the fact that it's about 2~3 minutes too short. Original mix is kind of a waste of time and fails to fill the billet of being the long-enough version of the single. Bingo Players were close but missed the mark this time.

Some of their more notable releases across 2010 and 2011 included “Tom’s Diner” (where they sampled...
