You've let me down big time

Let it be known that I will NOT be purchasing this album. All I needed was the album preview to decide that. With ample time to compile and remix Grim Grinning Ghosts with the current, proper Re-Haunting vocal tracks used at Walt Disney World, Randy Thorton has failed me. Once again, we are presented with yet another copy of THE SAME FREAKING MIX THAT HAS BEEN ON EVERY OFFICIAL ALBUM FOR OVER A FREAKING DECADE! Not only is the version inacurately labled as being from Walt Disney World, any Disney fan ALREADY HAS IT! It was the only track I was really looking forward to, hoping you had heard my many post around the internet begging you to revisit the track with the current ride vocals, and you failed me.

I'm sure Disney really doesn't really care that they turned away one potential buyer, but I will rally others to join my cause. I've got at least 5 or 6 copies of the Grim Grinning Ghosts mix found on this "new" album in my collection already, and there is no way that I'll pay for another. Is it too much to ask to revisit some tracks so it's not the same old stuff anymore?

This album may have more "new" content on it than previous ones, but it's a let down because of that one track I was looking forward to. For the granters of Dreams, Disney sure has let me down big time on this one. And Disney doesn't get my money if it's lets me down.

Go back to your mixing consle Thorton! Several tracks need dire updates before I slave over my hard earned cash for the same old stuff with a hint of something new.

Okay, before I start this review, I must tell you: I AM A DISNEY NUT. I KNOW THE ATTRACTIONS INSIDE & OUT, & THE AUDIO THEY USE.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let's get on with this review. I hate to even give this review 1 star. I wish I could give it -infinite. Why? I've owned several of their "official albums" that they've released throughout the years, starting with the kiosks in the parks. They all usually include mixes that contain audio from the rides. Well, after about over a decade of updates & releasing the same mix over & over, you'd think they'd add the new audio right? As Lex Luthor once said "WRONG!". Randy Thornton, the man responsible for releasing all their albums, has failed this big time. To fully understand what's wrong, I need to give you a small history lesson.

In 2007, The Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World underwent an extensive renovation. Naturally, audio played a large part in this refurbishment. In it, new singers/vocals were installed in the graveyard scene, & the old ones (still in use at Tokyo Disneyland & Disneyland) were removed. They've never been leaked as good-quality copies to me or the rest of the Disney community, & Disney still has yet to do a proper release with them on there.

I strongly encourage, unless you don't have a copy of one of the official albums yet, to boycott this CD. There is no point in buying mixes you've already heard before.
