Album Review

This was the maiden effort of the Apollo Sound, whose iconoclastically breezy sound made them the most popular salsa band in the late '60s. These were the ingredients that made this musical organization (with a two-trumpet-trombone-tenor sax lineup) a perennial favorite. Classic Puerto Rican salsa. ~ José A. Estévez, Jr., Rovi
