Cyan

MY brother had this album when we were growing up and I HAD to get it! Of course, it was purchased for the popular Shambala and Let Me Serenade You however, back then everyone bought albums to get bonus tracks not found on 45's or to hear other music offered by an artist or group. This brought back great memories of my formative musical years. This is a must have for any TDN fan as it exposes their groovy as well as their softer sides. You won't be disappointed!

One of the best TDN albums

Cyan is now over 40 years old and has sadly been out of print on CD in the US for years now. Besides the two big hits "Shambala" and "Let Me Serenade You" easily the next best track is one that had never appeared on any TDN compilation! It contains one of Chuck Negron's best TDN lead vocals- " Singer Man". It should have been a big hit in its own right but was never released as a single. It dreamy feeling along with Chuck's amazing lead vocals and some nice lead guitar work make this track a true lost TDN classic song! Get this album!

One of the best ever. This was the first rock album (on 8-track) I ever had. Can't find it stores at all. Happy Song and Into My Life still give me a rush. Thanks

While often criticized as commercial, the band was noted for its creative arrangements and interpretations, and their cover choices gave exposure (and royalties) to several talented songwriters: Nilsson ("One"), Laura...
