Mark Pritchard mixes things up to great effect

If you're in the correct mood, this album will be exactly the sound your ears are looking for. Those of you who know of Mark Pritchard (you know, the guy who just happened to also be in Global Communication, Reload, and Jedi Knights) is one of THE premier dance music producers in the world. This album definitely showcases that fact, and the pure sound on this album is unrivaled. Tracks like Cyclotron, and Call To Arms are just HUGE in their sound, and the bass almost knocks you flat on your butt. He takes a turn toward the analog sounds on tracks like Galag-A, and comes out sounding like a subtle Boards Of Canada which is no bad thing by any means. The standouts are Koln and Quadrant 3 which follow these same formulas, but end up sounding like slight forays into his music he makes as Reload. Which is great! My only complaint is this album ends up a little bit on the monotonous side. When each track starts out, they are an explosion of excitement, but after the third minute you've had enough. Other than that, I would highly recommend this album. As a side note, look out for a new Reload album from Pritchard this year! Oh, and I always try to point out a particularly idiotic review of an otherwise fine album, and this time I will focus on a reviewer named Drumunit. He gave this album one star saying it was "terrible", but did nothing to back up his claim. He also gave a Bebel Gilberto album 4 stars. Why do people review albums they know they aren't going to like before hand? Go listen to your Brazilian cheese music if that's what you want. You don't see Harmonic 313 fans reviewing Bebel Gilberto albums because they know that Gilberto's music is pop fluff.

A Correct Assessment

A nice addition to diversify your playlists. Three One Three, this comes correct! No speak and spell, son, just lethally mastered doom-sayer beats and amp cord nooses to wrap around your neck. If you want to know what a machine might sound like if he only spoke in tracks and was now YOUR master, this is it. Better than that, this is the soundtrack of the future. The one we all know is on its way.

Come on

Call to arms(track 10)!!! If u don't feel dat', cause that track is bangin', well then jus' revert to what u do. I'd intended to give the album a 3 but saw the rating at 2 1/2, come on, it's not THAT bad.
