About Diamante Eléctrico

Diamante Eléctrico is a Colombian blues-rock band. Formed in 2013 by Juan Galeano (vocals, bass), Daniel Álvarez (guitar), and Andee Zeta (drums), the group immediately made waves in the Colombian independent scene and was able to release its eponymous debut that same year; they reached number one in the local charts with the single "Nos Rompemos Igual." 2014's B fared even better, earning the band a Best Rock Album of the Year Latin Grammy. After sharing the stage with the likes of Foo Fighters and the Rolling Stones, Diamante Eléctrico returned in 2016 with La Gran Oscilación, their most ambitious work to date. Both the album and the single "Déjala Rodar" came up winners at the 2017 Latin Grammy award ceremony. ~ Mariano Prunes
