Some Nice Dancehall Tunes

Mambo Monster

This is the first time I have seen a compilation with all of these tunes on the same album. This album contains what sounds like the original Super Cat Track Scalpthem (which was released last year and spelled Scalp Dem). It also contains two (2) new tracks from Wayne Wonder and Sizzla that I have not previously heard anywhere on the net or on any of the CD I have of these fine Artists. Also worth a shout out on the song Our Glory, which is a real good tune. Some of the other songs are re-releases from previous albums, so make sure you do not pay to download something you already might have in your collection. The tune be mine by Mr. Lew has a ring of Wayne Wonder to it, as does the Chappa Jan to Sizzla.

Ragga Force Music is very clever and sends out a notice to previous buyers when they release something new. Since I really liked their Mantra Bros and TV Mania Orchestra, I decided to check the album out. This album mixes old with some new. This is old school dancehall, with several very good tracks. My picks include: Scalpthem by Super Cat, Not Over You by Wayne Wonder, and Drive Me Crazy by Avenger. I have previously heard the songs from General Degree, and Admiral Bailey. Have not heard the song by Sizzla entitled Mother Earth. Sizzla has a unique style that you either love or hate, there is no in between. I do not particularly like this track. No reflection on Sizzla, simply not my preferred style. I am sure others will like the track.
