Excellent early Jump

This album is an absolutely fantastic collection of the early songs of a hidden treasure in american music. This album demontrates the influence of Irish folk music on the band's early works and yes, even accents. But don't let that discourage you from trying out this great album. From the upbeat fun of "Dancing Virginia" and "Someone's in the Kitchen" to the near cult status of "Opium" among Jump fans, this album is entirely solid. Definitely worth a listen if you're interested in the origin of the band that brought "Cathedrals" and "Mexico" to the near mainstream.

Old School Rocks!

This cd may be from 1996, but it is JLC done right! These were the good ol' days and how I long for them to come back. This cd is AWESOME!!

This album does indeed rock!!

I agree. I too remember seeing this band in my late teens, early twenties in college in North Carolina. I still go back to this CD a great deal. It has stuck with me over the years, and is one of the most unique sounding, fantastic CD's from back in my early college days when people were just beginning to hear of Dave Mathews, Edwin McCain, and Hootie. These guys were right up there, and too bad they didn't make it quite as big. This CD is equally as good if not better than those artists (especially, Hootie. What the Hell were we thinking?). Defenitely worth a listen.
