The French Elvis?

Not quite, but close. But it would be vintage Elvis, when he was still having fun with music, before fame and fortune got the better of him. Sixties French Pop also comes to mind, along with the usual suspects from that rich and vital period. But this is vintage Duvall, which is to say, this music feels timesless as well as contemporary. The images he conjures with his lovely narratives, have an undeniably cinematic quality to them. Duvall's music belongs in every serious record/music collection.
