Dark Light

H.I.M. (His Infernal Majesty)'s new 2005 album dark light is the best grunge/Metal/alternative album of 2005. In my opinion every song is good. Here is a full review... Vampire Heart. It may not be a hit but everyone likes it. 4.5/5 Rip out the wings of a butterfly. The most popular song on the album. And 4 a good reason. 5/5 Under the rose. Great Keyboarding. 4/5 Killing Loneliness. Pretty good hit. Not overrated. 5/5 Dark Light. I don't think it should be a hit, but it's all good. 4/5 Behind the crimson door. The best song on the album. I think it should be a hit. 55/5 The face of god. I like the chours. 5/5 Drunk on shadows. Good gituar playing. 4/5 Play dead. The worst song on the disc, but still very good. 3.5/5 In the nightside of eden. Very mysterious. 4/5 There you have it. The best H.I.M. album in a nutshell.

An excellent album

This is a band that still remembers that crafting a song is more than just loud guitars and screaming lyrics. This album has a decidedly different feel than HIM's other albums and shows more of a varied range in both vocal and musical stylings than this albums predecessors. There is a very nice balance of substance and style to Dark Light. You may also want to check out "And Love Said No...", which covers the bands top hits and would make a great entry selection for a listener interested in trying out something new.

Flawless as usual..

This is their best album yet. I am a HUGE HIM fan and love everything about them. Their music speaks to me and this album, just like the other ones, grips you and pulls you in and takes you on a musical rollar coster. If you haven't been turned onto HIM yet, this is the best time. But don't forget about their past work, because that too is flawless.
