Crucified Barbara - Kicks Arse

These ladies of metal are serious people. This is one smokinn-hot CD! Every tune kicks me right in the face. They may lack a little musical sophistication but they make up for it with catchy riffs, a tight rythum section, and excellent production values. My favorite is "Rats", and though the riff sounds familiar, I cant place it in my fog infested memory.....They sound very unique in the genre of metal but at the same time, they sound like a lot of bands put together. I guess most bands are a composite of their influences but Crucified Barbara is one hell of a band! Watch out for these ladies cause if they can keep it together as a unit, I believe we will be listenin to them for a long time.

Why aren't they HUGE!?!?!?

Great, kickass, smart songwriting, killer chops an' attitude, energetic production.... this album is GREATNESS

A Must!

In a male dominated world of rock, these girls can stand toe to toe with any of them! Every track on here is good, and that is rare to say at times. I hope these ladies continue making more great tunes, Their newest one "The Midnight Chase" is another one filled with monster tracks!

By then, the group's original fixation on punk rock had given way to a more muscular hard rock approach, and after frequent gigging led to their signing with GMR Records, Crucified Barbara's debut single, "Losing the Game," was released...
