This new EP by Josh Ritter isn't breaking any new ground, but it's deeply rooted in rich melodies and familiar lyrics. It feels like home.


This album feels good on my ears!

Music to listen to by the fireplace

Josh Ritter has done it again. This time a surprise EP recorded in just a few days. Less is more with this release, as the songs feature a stripped down feel. That being said, they continue to be what we expect from Josh Ritter: great melodies, great lyrics, and overall great songs. Something about this record makes me want to sit by the fireplace with a hot toddy and imagine the snow gently falling on the ground outside. This record reminds us Josh Ritter is the best young songwriter alive today.
