WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL .... Simply wonderful !

I really enjoy Natalie when she sings Jazz BUT I truly adore her when she does R&B... Her sound is of today but the feel is so true and real- never abandoning that vintage late 70's sound. Luv most of the album!

Love "The Man with the Child in His Eyes"

I can't speak to Cole's entire album, but I think she does a fantastic job of covering Kate Bush's song--one of the pieces that adolescent Bush used to win over Dave Gilmour and EMI back in the 70s. Cole brings a different perspective to the song but retains its haunting, consoling qualities. Something about her take on it reminds me of the Gabriel/Bush collaboration, "Don't Give Up." Great, too, that Cole does what Bush once said a cover should do: Bring something different to the song. I have to admit, I've never really given Cole's work much notice, though I've always respected her. I think it's time that I started collecting her work.

Soulfully wonderful

Saw Natalie perform the cover of Fiona Apple's "Criminal" on the Today show and was blown away! It was fantastic. That inspired me to check out this album and I am not disappointed. It's got all the funk and soul of that performance: wonderful harmonies, great rhythms and great versions of some great songs! Well worth the purchasing the whole album.
