Awesome new album!

So many great influences on this album. Love the new takes on the classics and impressed by the new originals. I don’t care where he’s categorized! I just want to listen.

I love this new CD! It's full of happy tunes that take me back to the 60's. Spencers beautiful voice and the arrangements of these standards are delightful. "These Boots Are Made for Walking" and "Groovin' on a Sunday Afternoon" are awesome. There are also 5 complementary originals that showcase Spencer's writing talent. "Missing Tonight" is great!

It's Time to Get Groovin' With Spencer Day!

Another brilliant masterpiece by modern day crooner Spencer Day! On Daybreak, this prolific singer/song-writer channels nostalgia and 60's SoCal charm as his muse. Seamlessly compiled into five original compositions like the undeniably catchy "You Don't Know That You're Lonely" and five refreshing re-imaginings of classics including "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" and the ominously rousing "Bad Moon Rising," he takes you with him down the PCH with a smile and a glow all the way. "Missing Tonight" is the perfect opener, setting the tone of the road trip. You won't be able to resist the toe-tapping invitation of "Naturally." And particularly memorable is his cover of Peter and Gordon's "World Without Love," where the lyrics seem to bear more weight when suffused with Day's signature silky-smooth baritone & heart. Day's soulful live performances translate well here on "Daybreak," but if you get a chance to see him live, you are in for a treat. You will walk away having been tickled by his charm and emotionally enriched by his outpouring of love and heartache. I am looking forward to many more albums and live shows from this talented artist. Until the next one, I'm gonna bask in the glow of "Daybreak" and coast down that beautiful highway with a grin on my face. I highly recommend, without a doubt, that you experience the same.
