iTunes Review

Maroon 5 is a pop-rock band and proud of it. On Overexposed, it embraces the genre's versatility, collaborating with artists from a broad spectrum of sounds. Pittsburgh’s hometown hero Wiz Khalifa raps about envious scrubs who hate on his success—a stark contrast to Adam Levine’s romantic take on the idea of ringing up the object of his desire on “Payphone.” Maroon 5 also joins forces with Max Martin, Benny Blanco, and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.

Well Done!!

I have to say the album started off really great with Payphone. My favorite songs of this album are Payphone, The Man Who Never Lied, Love Somebody, Fortune Teller, and Wipe Your Eyes. This was another album that Maroon 5 has yet again impressed me.Though it is not their original sound it is still very great. I have loved Maroon 5 since I was 8 when they came out with Songs About Jane. I miss their original sound with the guitar, drums, and piano. And even though I love this album I hope when Maroon 5 comes out with their next album that they will go back to the sound they had in It Won't Be Soon Before Long. This album had to much electro-pop in it. Now I love pop music like this but I think that this is to much pop considering its Maroon 5.

Overexposed is right. Payphone is beautiful and One More Night is ok, hence why I gave 2 stars. I'm not one of those that be like (Oh they sold out) cuz frankly I don't care but they failed here. Perfect name for a boring album. No wonder I found it at Safeway :/

i like it

A mix of polished pop/rock and neo-soul made Maroon 5 one of the most popular bands of the new millennium, with songs like "This Love," "She Will Be Loved," and "Makes Me Wonder" all topping the charts worldwide. Previously, bandmates Adam Levine (vocals/guitar), Jesse Carmichael (keyboards), Mickey Madden (bass), and Ryan Dusick (drums) had spent the latter half of the '90s playing in Kara's Flowers, even releasing a debut album for Reprise Records while still attending high school. The record tanked,...
