iTunes Review

Maroon 5 is a pop-rock band and proud of it. On Overexposed, it embraces the genre's versatility, collaborating with artists from a broad spectrum of sounds. Pittsburgh’s hometown hero Wiz Khalifa raps about envious scrubs who hate on his success—a stark contrast to Adam Levine’s romantic take on the idea of ringing up the object of his desire on “Payphone.” Maroon 5 also joins forces with Max Martin, Benny Blanco, and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.

UM

If you listen to all of their songs the background music changes ever-so-slightly with each song

That's the real deal

I've always liked the band with their catchy songs but this album seems to be more mature. I love the love songs with strings beats on them.
A must have!

it IS different

This album is different but if you love Maroon 5, you will love this album. Honestly at first listen I was a little in shock. It took me a bit to get used to the new vibe. Admittedly I had been listening to the live album over and over (and over), so I was used to hearing something a little different than any of their albums present. However, now Overexposed is my new favorite, it has a song for everyone if you take time to listen to the whole thing. Give it a chance :)
