Permanet Me-Not Just great talent

This is one of the best new bands of the year, but unfourtantly it'll be ignored by the mainstream masses because of its generic sound and I hate to say it, but with the superficalness of today, not many girls will give them the time of the day because they aren't pretty boys. But they have great lyrics and skill, and not only that, but they are extremely nice guys. I met them in January after their set at the FOB show, and they were the nicest guys in the world. And after they were done signing autographs and taking pictures with fans, they headed into the crowd to watch the show. I didn't learn this until much later from my mom that the lead singer had actually, stood behind us. haha I felt so emabaressed, i acted like a ditz during the concert. xD anyways, they are good guys, and a good band, they just need to originate their sound more. Not too bad for a first album.

A More Than Decent Debut

Permanent Me snuck up on us in late may and will keep us going back through the summer. Not only are their lyrics on the pop side of rock, the vocal talents of Joseph Guccione and Brian Kapler mesh together very well. Some will say that they are another run of the mill punk-pop band, but Permanent Me could deffinately throw you some curve balls with their upbeat guitar licks and lyrical brilliance. If you liked The Starting Line's new album, check out these guys for a twist.

"Permanently" in my iPod

Permanent Me is a spectacular band. Truly. Allison's chorus is plain, simple and sweet. Just the repetition of it sounds as if there is a great love story behind it. And no doubt there is. Christine is the same way. But I'm starting to think these guys are total players. They have an almost average sound, the only thing I would suggest to the band is to have a different singing style. The number one best reason to buy this album is because you get 15 songs for $9.99! Enjoy.
