Rob Thomas before Matchbox 20, how awesome is this.... I could listen to Rob sing the phonebook, ABCs, etc. Any song is great madness if Rob is singing it, and here is a whole new list to listen to...you can tell that he had a future that was going to come at him strong, once he got into a stronger band. ROB ROCKS! Lou Rizzo and Pat Arpaio Rock Also, we are big fans of them in SLC also.

before matchbox twenty

When i realized that three of the members of matchbox twenty had a band before matchbox twenty i had to find out more about the music, and tabithas secret is that band; it is a great sit back and listen to album with some soulful beats and great lyrics. Also for those matchbox twenty fans out there, you will find the well known songs 3 am and tired (which matchbox twenty plays in concert) This band helped make paul, brian and rob thomas the great musicians that they are today, i highly recommend this album!

About Tabitha's Secret

Tabitha's Secret began touring Orlando's club circuit in 1993. Jay Stanley, John Goff, and Rob Thomas were the leading members. Brian Yale and Paul Doucette joined a year later. The adult alternative pop/rock outfit had the opportunity to get closer to a record deal after meeting producer Matt Serletic in Miami. Nevertheless, they started falling apart in 1995 when Thomas, Yale, and Doucette decided to go on their own, debuting as Matchbox Twenty with Yourself or Someone Like You in the fall of 1996. In 1998, Goff and Stanley released Don't Play with Matches, an album of the original quintet's demos, among them the original version of the Matchbox Twenty hit "3 A.M." They followed with an archival live album in 2000 and a remixed version of Don't Play with Matches, called Tabitha's Secret?, in 2001. ~ Drago Bonacich
