So I pulled up this album just to check out a song my husband heard on the radio and said I should listen to...and I liked it so much I ended up previewing and buying the entire album, something I RARELY ever do. They have an upbeat, harmonic, folksy that sound reminds me of Mumford & Sons about 5-10 years ago, Rend Collective, and the like with a little country twang thrown in. Hope to hear more out of these guys!!

So great❤️

I love 'make you mine', it's such a great song!!

About High Valley

Canadian pop-country duo High Valley is made up of brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel. The brothers grew up on a farm in the remote rural community of La Crete, Alberta, where it seemed there was always a lot of country music being played, and the brothers quickly absorbed it, forming High Valley before they were even teenagers. The young band, originally a trio with brother Bryan, played wherever they could, often at church camps, and eventually worked their way up to open for country stars who toured through, all while still attending school and holding down part-time jobs. They recorded for the first time in Nashville in 2001 and released a debut album, Broken Borders, in 2007. That LP went on to earn the Album of the Year award at the GMA Canada Covenant Awards, while the single "Back to You" brought them Country Song of the Year. The group's eponymous second studio album, issued in 2010, took home five Covenants, and in 2012 they released album number three, Love Is a Long Road, via Open Road Recordings. The well-received County Line dropped in 2014, proving to be the band's commercial breakthrough behind the singles "Rescue You," "County Line," "Make You Mine," and "She's with Me." It was enough to get them a deal with Atlantic and, in November 2016, High Valley made their major-label debut with Dear Life. ~ Steve Leggett
