New Years Day's coming out party

I've been following New Years Day since their debut album My Dear several years ago, and this record is them at their very best. Very strong set of songs, with not a filler track to be found anywhere. Several songs, like my favorites "Hello Darkness", "Bloody Mary", and "Death of the Party", will have you singing along from the first listen. Very catchy and infectious, songs that you'll want to hear over and over again. In fact, I struggle to to get all the way through the album because I keep hitting repeat. I also love that this band understands the concept of guitar solos and there are several sizzlers to be found here. Ashley Costello shows some good versatility with her vocals and the lyrics are clever and edgy as always. As someone who's been buying records and going to shows for 30 years, this album is proof that this band is the real deal. If it doesn't break them big it'll be through no fault of their own...

Words can't describe how AMAZING this album is! I am so proud to be a CREEP! <3 - @AsianaNYD

the creeps have been waiting for this for awhile & the wait definitely paid off! sadly i cant buy it at this exact moment but i did pre-order it when the pre-orders first came up so I'll have the physical copy but being the big NYD supporter i am i wanna also but it on here to show my luv for the band & all these perfect songs. just the previews are enough to tell me that when i listen to this front to back its gonna bring up harsh feelings, some years & joy of the release of emotions c: I hope this makes at least top 5 on the charts!! this is completely worth buying & i cant wait to get a card to get it myself & for the physical copy to get to me ^_^ creep for life <3 New Years Day saved my life!!

Perhaps calling their band "Fall Out Girl" would have been a bit too on the nose, but the Orange County act New Years Day undeniably sound like the melodic and commercial pop-punk of Fall Out Boy — whose lead singer, Patrick Stump, and bassist, Pete Wentz, were early supporters — fronted by a young Gwen Stefani wannabe. (Not the recent gimmicky dance-pop Gwen, mind you, but Tragic Kingdom-vintage Gwen.) New Years Day formed in 2005 when bassist and primary songwriter Adam Lohrbach left...
