Album Review

The fifth full-length studio outing from the hard-hitting, Southern California-based Christian deathcore outfit (or Goreship enthusiasts, as they like to refer to themselves as), Death Will Reign arrives on the heels of 2012's dense and apocalyptic, Andreas Magnusson-produced Baptized in Filth. Offering up 11 new punishing slabs of raw, sonic vitriol, including the bludgeoning first single/leadoff track "Ravenous Disease" and the epic "Doomsday, Death Will Reign was recorded at the Machine Shop with producer Will Putney (Lamb of God, Suicide Silence), and is the first Impending Doom release to feature the talents of new second guitarist Eric Correa.

Customer Reviews

This album combines the eerie tones of Nailed Dead Risen with the brutal progression of their two most recent albums.

Make no mistake about it my friends; this album is dark and filled to the brim with pure dread. Unrelenting guitar hooks with bold, unapologetic lyrics are littered throughout this album.

This is one of the few Christian bands actually out there. No gimmicks. No trends. No compromise.

There should be a warning lable

There should be a whiplash warning on this album it's so heavy

Heaviest Christian album yet

This new impending doom should keep going. This is amazing work. It's like thy art is murder but Christian!!! Impending doom vs thy art is murder. This is great stuff. If they ever read reviews I hope they read these. Their next album should be heavier.

In the time after the EP, Forno, Pewthers,...
