UNDERARTED FILM, UNDERATED SCORE

i saw deep impact in the fall of 1998 when i was 16 years old. i'm 25 now and whenever i hear james horner's beautiful score for this film; i'm taken back to that moment when i first saw it. deep imapct had a real, emotional, human feel to the story and this soundtrack did nothing but completely reinforce that feeling. i love this score and am so glad iTUnes added it to their collection.

Outstanding and Amazing

Whenever anyone says James Horner, they think Titanic. But Deep Impact is a far superior score and is one of the best that I've heard. James Horner excels at the soft and quiet themes, and the best representation of this is the track "The Wedding". That is the best track in the entire album, but all 12 tracks are worth buying. If you enjoyed Deep Impact, a massively underrated film, then you will love this soundtrack.

A human film... with human music...

While the other comet-slamming-into-earth movie of 1998 was fun, this was a real story of people and I think the mucis greatly reflects their struggles to deal with the situation. Excellent music, well worth a listen.
