Album Review

The greatest hits of Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick's dream band are compiled on this Blue Thumb release. The Best of Incognito features the acid jazz and funk that kicked off the funk jazz scene in the United Kingdom and chronicles their biggest hits. Included is the hot dance groove "Everyday" from the album 100° and Rising and the killer cover "Don't You Worry About a Thing by Stevie Wonder from Tribes, Vibes and Scribes. Selections from seven of Incognito's great CDs and a bonus track featured on the Japanese version of No Time Like the Future make up this choice set for dancing, grooving, or just relaxing.

A must have for any Jazz lover....

All I can say is AMAHZING!!! I first heard this CD at a lounge bar during a business trip to Korea and since then I have been a big fan of Incognito. The music and vocals are truly second to none. My favorite song on the CD is the remake of Stevie Wonder's "Dont You Worry 'Bout a Thing". I highly recommend purchasing this CD.

Bluey and Maysa Make a great team for making music. One song doesn't make an album. And this album is a culmination of many years of music. It's a great album, but there is nothing like listening to all of their projects individually. They do great work. Period!!

I always been a fan since my highschool years and my time overseas. Many of the songs got me through lots of bad days!!!

Just after the release of Light of the World's third LP (Check Us Out), Maunick and Williams shifted the lineup slightly and renamed the conglomeration Incognito. A...
