"Delight," originally a B-side off a 2002 12" for Traum, caught the ears of more than one person at Kompakt. After having already closed out Triple R's Friends mix, Kompakt used the track to begin their Kompakt Pop series, which provides the original mix of a track they love while adding a couple remixes. Benjamin Diamond's turn subtracts the blissful stomp, sweetens it up with some of his own vocals, and makes it as dreamy and wistful as a second-tier Saint Etienne single. Wolfgang and Reinhard Voigt treat the track just as kindly, maximizing its dancefloor potential without making it as bruising as their own co-productions. Too bad neither alternate mix does away with the vocoder vocals.
