iTunes Review

Between their sweet, country-tinged sound and their fondness for lyrics about dusty, open roads, the Eagles were naturals to record a concept album about the Old West. Drawing on themes of wanderlust and solitude, these songs speak to the rebellious spirit in all of us. Whether it's the rhythmic barroom piano of "Outlaw Man" or the plaintive balladry of the album's timeless title track, Desperado is the personal theme music for everyone's inner outlaw.

Singer-Song Writer🎤

"And this is where it all began" quoted from Glen Frye about the song 'Take it Easy' co-written by Glen Frye and Jackson Browne in there "Hell Freezes Over" tour... But "This is where it all began" for me with this story-telling album, Desperado.... 5 stars on all of the album. Great change for music during the "70's". Very innovating and a great risk to take at that time. Awesome risk to take. But, oh so worth it!!

Dollin' Dalton

One of the best Eagles albums. There isn't a bad song on this album.

Great album!!

But if your going to buy, just one song, off this album. Bitter creek, should be it!!

Though most of its members came from outside California, the group was closely identified...
