Pointedly leftist post-hardcore band Report Suspicious Activity was initiated by Vic Bondi (Articles of Faith, Jones Very, Alloy) in response to the 2004 re-election of United States President George W. Bush. The songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist sought bassist and engineer J. Robbins, who brought along Channels bandmate Darren Zentek to drum.
