New Album

This is the same old stuff from Statix-X. If your a fan, that's not a bad thing. If you've never heard them before, check out Wisconsin Death Trip First. If you don't like them, then you won't like this anyway. The songs on the album are continuing in the harder style that they used on their Start a War album. This is pretty much a good solid album, and not a waste of $9.99

A Solid Album

I feel this album is another solid performance from one of the best industrial rock bands out there. It does have a different feel than previous Static-X albums though. I cant explain it. Just sample some of the songs, and you will see. It seems every song has a guitar solo in it. Some good, some not so good. I just got back from the Tucson concert. The first track of this album will blow you away if you see it live. The iTunes version of this album has a "bonus track", I believe. Track 13 is not on the Best Buy version I bought. Buy this album, and keep Disco Evil!

Great album but...

I dont think its as good as Start a War. to me alot of the lyrics seem almost lazy in most of the songs. still i'm a long time fan of Static-X and even though i dont think its as good as their previous album i'm still lovin it. by the way if you have the chance i would buy the album from best buy. its the same price plus you get not one but two bonus tracks

They ended up in Chicago separately and met at the record store where Jay worked, introduced to one another by Smashing Pumpkins vocalist Billy Corgan. Static and Jay decided to head west to California and start up a new band. Shortly after their arrival, Osaka native Koichi Fukada responded to the duo's ad and became their new guitarist, as well as programmer. Bassist...
