It's Not a Spacesuit. It is a Vintage Diving Suit...

So we go from the viewpoint of an astronaut to the depths of the sea in a deep diving suit. Falling Up is trying to convey the idea that we are all out of our element and that our home lies somewhere else. Yet, this is not another concept album like the absolute masterpiece of "FANGS", but still the Christian undertones are there. Especially in the lyrics.

This is a great album. This is not a follow up to "Fangs". This does NOT sound anything like "Fangs". It is called "progression".
I know there are many fans who like the sound of "Crashings" and "Dawn Escapes" and are disappointed at the new sound of the albums that Falling Up has released. If this is "You" then don't bother buying this album. Falling Up made "Crashings" when they were teenagers and the "Dawn Escapes" shortly after that. This band has steadily matured and progressed over the years so naturally the sound of their music will too. But hey, if you think that all of their albums should sound the same and teeny bopperish then that's cool too.

Quite honestly, this album sounds completely different from anything i've ever heard before. As a whole, I don't hear Dawn escapes or Captiva....and I don't hear Fangs either. But what I do hear is a blend of all of those albums sounds combined into a completely new idea. Falling Up does not fail to acheive success with "Your Sparkling Death Cometh". 5 Stars...

Creativly Beautiful!!

I am proud to be a kickstarter who helped get these guys get this album made. They did not dissapoint.
The album is perfect! I really don't know how else to put it. Falling Up is back, and better than ever.
The album is pure art so I would like to thank you Falling Up for creating such a masterpeice.
Is this the best album they have put out?? YES!!! Well done.
"remember your heart, it had a perfect owner" : )

Good, but...

I love Falling Up, big fan. I've loved all of their old stuff (crashings, dawn escapes, exit lights) but when fangs came out, I wasn't too impressed. Yes it had a great sound, but it just wasn't falling up to me. This album sounds like a direct follow up of fangs. So to those who enjoyed fangs, this album's for you. But for those stuck in the past of falling up's "glory days" be cautioned. Love you guys, best wishes
