Blatantly 80s-style power rock - I absolutely love it

Heavy guitars, blasting keyboards, and super melodic riffs that are amazingly bright and happy. It would be painfully cheesy if it weren’t so artfully crafted. Brother Firetribe’s style is so simple in idea but they put it all together in such an intelligent way. They put a fun spin on what might be considered a “clichéd” sound.

Their growth as a band is apparent with each album they produce, and I love to see this happen. It shows true musicianship. I can confidently say this album is easily their best yet. Their sound has matured and the individual elements of each song mesh together so well. AND, they aren’t afraid to get creative with a slightly different feel for each song! In a world where music seems to be increasingly dark and talentless, Diamond in the Firepit is a bright ray of sunlight and hope (and that’s exactly how it sounds)! This is the flagship album of my motto: Windows down, music UP!

Eventually opting for a name change, Brother Firetribe signed a deal with Spinefarm Records. The band would then use its early moniker as inspiration...
