Missing some energy, but still good.

This is a good record. Unfortunately, they haven't quite managed to capture the amazing energy of their live shows and some of the songs suffer for it - Colette, and Restless in particular feel like echoes of what they could be. Still, there's some great song writing on here, and She's Gone sounds about as good as it gets. Check 'em out if they come through your town, you won't be disappointed.

Hello Sunshine

I haven't heard the album, but I did manage to hear "Hello Sunshine" when the Ron and Fez show on SIRIUS/XM used it to open their show today and I fell in love with it.

Solid album, one of my recent favorites. It was actually released in 2008, though, iTunes, not 2010.

Something of a one-man mixture of the Cramps, Beck's early indie records (circa One Foot in the Grave), and the soundtrack to O Brother Where Art Thou, singer and guitarist Langhorne Slim offers a sardonic, modern take on traditional folk, country, and blues.
