An excellent debut

As far as I know this is EMT's first album - some of the tracks are rougher than the second album, but some are pure, twisted poetry. How Would It Feel? is energetic and deep, and Babydoll's got this great psycho-lounge sway to it... but these guys are all over the genre borders, in their own world. I can't believe no one else has commented yet. Do yourselves a favor and check out EMT, especially if you can see them live - Eric and James are excellent musicians, and I hope they've kept their most recent drummer.. I had the luck to see them at Jazzbones in Tacoma, WA, and I recommend you do the same if you see them billed in your area.

I saw these guys play in Telluride CO, and they seriously rocked so hard.....Diamonds to Coal is disappointing and Joy of Suffering is ok but on stage is where their true talent shows
