Mature Adult Satire from the 70's on TV & Celebrities of the era by Dickie Goodman

Dickie Goodman Screwy TV Liner Notes By Jon Goodman PARENTAL ADVISORY WARNING! THIS ALBUM IS FOR ADULTS ONLY! THIS ALBUM CONTAINS EXTREMELY GRAPHIC PROFANIY INVOLVING SEXUALLY EXPLICIT WORDS AND ETHNIC, SEXIST AND RACIAL SLURS! There, now having that out of the way frees me to continue. This is an extremely rare Dickie Goodman album. Dickie Goodman is known as the most charting novelty record producer in the world. His records are also known historically as family friendly material. In fact you could say that kids made Dickie Goodman very successful, and then they grew up and continued to make him successful as devoted fans. And today, Dickie Goodman records are being introduced to a whole new generation of young people around the globe. THIS ALBUM IS NONE OF THAT! That would be funny right? How could I know all that? How could I get into the mind of Dickie Goodman and know what he was thinking? Because I am as whacked as he was. Well by the third time you listen to any of these tracks you will be just as whacky; Simple as that…

Although Weird Al Yankovic gets most of the credit for popularizing novelty songs and parodies, the godfather of the genre is unquestionably Dickie Goodman. Born on April 19, 1934, in Hewlett, NY, Goodman first came to the attention of the record-buying public in the '50s, when he scored a major hit with "The Flying Saucer," a song that nearly topped the U.S. pop charts (peaking at number three in 1956). As with all of Goodman's ensuing parodies, he used a then-unique method of sampling: he would...
