shear genius...

this collection is worth it just for the Speed of Pain mix alone - it's almost one of the greatest songs of all time and shows that Marilyn Manson is sadly overlooked as an amazing lyricist, and with Haujobb twisting the knobs it culminates in pure bliss.

You Ought To Be Smacked For Passing This Up

Do you like industrial? Do you like techno/ambient/dub etc? Do you like modern alternative rock? Then believe it or not, this EP is for you. What's amazing is how haujobb manages to capture all of the above musical genres (and anything else in between) in this release and they do so w/great ease and expertise. Except for Prodigy's "smack my b-tch up" (which is the least that I like here), I haven't heard of any of the songs that haujobb covers, but it doesn't matter since they all stand on their own. Haujobb's cover of Marilyn Manson's "The Speed of Pain" is worth the price of the entire album alone. "Die Eier Von Satan" harkens back to haujobb's dark industrial origins w/their menacing vocals and sinister synthwork. Excellent production and extremely danceable w/o resorting to that cookie-cutter techno club sound. - Monty

i can sample too!!

i think the cover of MM, the Speed of Pain is nothing but taking the drum sample from closer and moaning the lyrics to the song... how distasteful!!! i cant believe i even liked this genre of music!!!! some electronic artist just give no credit in making music and rely on sampling and loops already done for them and call themselfs a band while other musicians are hardworking!!!
