iTunes Review

The grief-stained Dig Deep was recorded as After the Burial coped with the sudden death of guitarist Justin Lowe. Downplaying their progressive tendencies, the group instead express their anguish by ratcheting up the ferocity of their djent-style chugging. On the thrashing “Collapse,” the band threaten to rip apart their own polyrhythmic motor. Equally unhinged is “Mire,” which fluctuates between deathcore blitz and jagged groove work. And be sure to blast the ending of the funereal “Heavy Lies the Ground”; it’s the sickest 30 seconds on the entire album.

Awesome guitar

Incredible album with awesome guitar. Really love the riffs and the lead work. Every member of the band did a fantastic job

Fûck

Yes

Different than Rareform, but as good!

This album has Rareform vibes throughout the entire album. After The Burial has written their most mature, musically satisfying album here, and it kicks major arse. This should be album of the year for metal. It's short, but it's perfect. These guys have been pushing metal in different directions for the last 8 years. They aren't letting up anytime soon. Buy this album as fast as you can. SHOUT OUT TO MINNESOTA 612
