If Gorillaz began life as a playful comment on artificiality in music (and a way for Damon Albarn to escape the shadow of Britpop) then Demon Days is their coming of age. Laden with A-grade guests—ranging from Roots Manuva to Dennis Hopper—and expansive in its scope, this second record delivers everything from off-kilter hip hop (“Dirty Harry” and De La Soul feature “Feel Good Inc.”) to neo-rave bangers (Shaun Ryder assist “Dare”) without putting a foot wrong.

Idk why the reviews got deleted, so I'll rate it myself. Now, I've loved this album for over a year and it NEVER gets old. It's pure gold.

Still amazing 9 years later

i got this as a gift on something called a CD when it first came out and i was in love with it, it got deleted from my iTunes for a couple years and i just got it again and its even better than i remember, i appreciate how different and cool it is now compared to before, awesome album get this classic
