iTunes Review

Storyteller marks 10 years since Carrie Underwood left American Idol with a recording contract and a Mustang convertible—a journey that transformed her from TV-show contestant into country royalty. Led by the rebellious anthem “Smoke Break,” the album deftly toes the line between crossover material (“Chaser”) and Nashville traditions (“The Girl You Think I Am”), with special weight given to the five-handkerchief ballads that have always been Underwood’s calling card—made all the more bittersweet by her newfound life as wife and mother.

Can't Pick A Favorite

I've never been a fan of country music, but when one of her songs came on, I would tune in instead of tuning out. This is probably my favorite album by her so far and I love every song on here. Especially songs like "Renegade Runaway", "Dirty Laundry", "Choctaw County Affair", "Church Bells", and even the softer songs like "Chaser" and "Clocks Don't Stop". Every single song in this is perfection, and I highly recommend buying this wonderful album.

Absolutely in LOVE

I am in tears after listening to "The Girl You Think I Am” Carrie knocked that one right on the head and described so many daddy daughter relationships. Thank you!

Underwood grew up in the small town of Checotah, Oklahoma, and began singing with her church...
