A True Gem...

I thought this album was great and really have no idea what b6... is talking about. I am an avid listener of a cappella music and really feel like this album is a gem in the collegiate a cappella world these days. Its not overproduced, and there is nothing fake about the sound. Hallelujah is amazing, no wonder its their number 1 song. I think it is pretty clear that there are much more than 5 ppl singing on each song. It sounds like a large group to me, the only difference is its not overcompressed and since i can hear each voice individually...well that just means they didnt record in group parts. They each recorded individually, which takes some cajones. UVA Hullabaloos are a great group no doubt, but im sorry they did not create this song and in no way does another group covering the same song have to give that other group any credit. I actually think F15's version of district is much better, just becuz it is an original arrangement and it actually sounds like voices and not a synthesizer. I read that this album was mixed by one of the top in the midwest (he also worked on a couple small names like R. Kelly). So, if it really sounds like a couple voices to you..well all the credit in the world to their mixer, cuz that means F15 have an even tighter sound. The beatboxing again, is all natural, and it was really a breath of fresh air to hear something that doesnt sound like a synthesized techno drum beat. Im sorry, but most a cappella cds these days have computer effects that just dont do it for me anymore. It was cute at first, but at least we know that they are sticking true to their sound and not stealing a beat from a keyboard. it doesnt need computerized effects cuz that makes it umm...well not a cappella music anymore. I have seen them live, and I think they would prove you wrong. Since you checked out their website, well you know where to find them. I would go check them out for real before you judge their sound based off 30 second clips. Cuz I have a feeling thats what you did.

Defying the Laws of Physics

Undoubtedly one of the best albums in my entire music collection, Game Time is a triumphant example of how talent, love and (countless hours of) hard work can combine to create something truly special. You've raised the bar again, boys. Congratulations.

I love this album!

This C.D. is absolutely amazing, the band is so talented! The songs sound exactly like the cover songs by the original band, it is amazing. This is definitly worth the money and is a great buy.
