Album Review

Aaberg pays tribute to several contemporary film composers with a collection of piano solos. Movements of scores from Cinema Paradiso, Diva, My Brilliant Career, and Awakenings, among other films, are elegantly performed and nicely sequenced.

One of the best albums I own

I am shocked that there is no review yet for this CD. I have listened to this album since the heyday of cassette tapes. It was my introduction to Aaberg's playing. I have it on CD, and I have downloaded on a couple of occasions. Aaberg's is so absurdly good, I just can't figure out why he has not seen the success Winston has. The most under-appreciated musician I know of.
