iTunes Review

Carving a path between ambient and shoegaze, Tycho's Dive flows like a mighty river. Befitting the album's home on the Ghostly label, gleaming synths guide the music's path, particularly on the slow breakbeat cut "Adrift" and the wistful IDM tune "Epigram." But guitars play an even greater role: On "A Walk," harmonics flash like sunbeams, and on the gorgeous "Coastal Brake," acoustic finger-picking serves as a wistful counterpoint to arpeggiated keys and ringing echoes. Beneath all those wispy accents, muscular electric bass serves as a satisfyingly heavy anchor.

Smooth stuff

Best music I've ever had!

Beautiful and perfect layers

Scott Hansen is a brilliant mind and this album deserves every bit of praise possible. An album that brings out all types of emotions is an album worth remembering forever, and this does exactly that. 🤘😀

Tycho debuted in 2002 with The Science of Patterns, a self-released four-track EP. Sunrise Projector, his first album, was released in 2004 on the Gammaphone label. After the album was re-released...
