A Must-See Live Band

dada is the top 5 of my all-time favorite bands. They are also one of the best and most underrated bands of the last 15 years. If dada comes to your city to play a show, do whatever you can to go. This album is a good (not great) representation of their live show, but it's a bit sterile. What I mean is that, some of the effects and atmosphere from their live mixes aren't captured here. If you really want the best version of dada, see and hear them live. They're touring in early 2006 - make sure you're there!

Praise for Dada

Live: Official Bootleg, Vol. 1 is one of the best quality live albums that has been put out in the last three years. This album is a must have for Dada fans and for those of you who have never heard their music. The guitar solo in Feel Me Don't You is one of the best you could ever experience from a live album. The track list is a greatest hits lineup of their work. Quite simply this album is a celebration of one of the most underrated bands of the late 90's to present. Buying this album will be the best $10 you ever spent.

Dada Live: Official Bootleg, Vol. 1

Nevertheless, the band's debut record, 1992's Puzzle, was an updated version of the polished guitar pop that the Police pioneered in the early '80s. On the strength of the single "Dizz Knee Land," the group earned a fair amount of press and sold a number of records. When they delivered their second album, American Highway...
