Let the woman sing!

The girl band member sings in 3 songs in this album. Interestingly, for me these are the best and most interesting songs in the album. I found the rest un-melodic somehow, I don't know if it's the male's singer voice to blame or just the songs themselves. For me, the best song in the album, and I wish the rest were as good, is "Two Girls". The worst is "Tambourine Girl", reminds me of plain me-too garage music from the '90s.

Noise + Melody

Like all the best shoegaze/noisy rock, these are catchy songs enveloped in waves of crazy noise. Excellent production, great songs. A+ would buy again

This is one of he best records I have bought this year.
Very well put together pop songs dripped in tripping.
A fantastic effort in every way. Great music and fun here.

Ringo Deathstarr were originally formed in 2005 by singer and guitarist Elliott Frazier in his hometown of Beaumont, Texas, but after moving to the more musically happening climes of Austin, he stabilized a final lineup with guitarist Renan McFarland, bassist Alex Gehring, and drummer Dustin Gaudet. Ringo Deathstarr's self-titled debut, a five-song EP, was released by the British label SVC Records in the fall of 2007.
