Not so brave....

Well, you can't say the girl is unambitious. JLO is one of these celebrities that is mediocre at ALOT of different things - she's an OK singer, a decent dancer, a better than average clothing fashionista/fragrance designer, and a mildy entertaining actress. Problem is, she has never excelled much over most of her competition in any of the areas she's chosen to delve into. That said - there is something ever so slightly refreshing on this album than past JLO efforts, granted it is no "On the 6." At first listen to the whole album, it is blatantly obvious she has played one too many spins of Madonna's "Confessions on a dancefloor." That isn't such a bad thing though, b/c "Confessions" was a great dance record. So if you're a female and are going to imitate someone's dance music, guess it should be Madonna, right? The stand out songs for me were numbers: 1, 2, 4, and 12. The rest sound thrown together sloppily. If you're looking for something "Brave" in terms of sound, lyrics, etc. you won't find it here since most of Jennifer's career endeavors have stressed quantity over quality.

Turning a New Leaf

I must say that I wasn't a real J-Lo fan. Now, it wasn't that she couldn't sing or entertain...we know she can do that...but it was the production. I felt whoever was on the production end just didn't give her what she needed. This time, I think I feel Jenny a little more...yes, people, it's an upgrade!!! Almost all the tracks are produced beautiifully and make you want to see J. in a concert or video to match the elegance, glamour and vivacity of her song and voice! Yeah, sometimes when an artist has taken a break sometimes people become complacent with what has been a trend...but trust me....go ahead and try this one out, It'll be like turning a new leaf!

The Return of Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez's last two english albums (Rebirth & This Is Me...Then) were not nearly as good as her first two (On The 6 & JLo). With this new album she finally delivers an album that can measure up to her first two albums. Every single song is unique and original in its own way, and is unlike anything that is being played on today's radio. I also approve the amount of dance tracks that are on this album but even the slow songs such as "Wrong When You're Gone" and "Never Gonna Give Up" are amazing. My favorite songs: -Stay Together -Forever -Hold It Don't Drop It -Do It Well -Never Gonna Give Up -Mile In These Shoes -Wrong When You're Gone
