Great artist.
I saw Janita perform at Rockwood Music Hall and she really took me back with her talent. She has an amazing set of vocals and her music is so well written. "Hopelessly Hopeful" is a song that really captured me, it was amazing live and I'm really excited to have the album version, she really stands out vocally...really glad I was introduced to this artist.
Janita's darker side
I've been looking forward to Janita's followup album to "Seasons of Life" for a while and I was not disappointed. While "Haunted" has a much darker sound, it still has all of the elemets that I love in Janita's music. So far my favorite track is "Out to Get You".
Just saw her on NBC
What a voice and what a talent. Saw her performing "Haunted" and "Do We Learn" live on NBC and though it was the first time I'd heard of her, I went straight away and bought the album. It does not disappoint...I look forward to repeated listens, and for more from this amazing artist. It's rare when someone can grab you so quickly from a TV appearance, but she did. Glad I caught it!
