This Band Rocks and Rolls

I’m a fan of blues and rock music. Anything with good guitar and lyrics will grab my attention. This band has my attention! Great music and lyrics to boot! Give it a listen and you will know what I’m talking’ about. Long live Blues Rock-n-roll

Good Rock Good Blues

I found these guys as I was searching for Born Under a Bad Sign by Albert King. Their version of the song has a dark quality to it that I found appealing. The bass intro sets the song up for some great guitar work leading up to some haunting vocals by the singer. This is a refreshing take on an old standard. Some of the other songs such as Darkness Fall keeps with the "dark side". But then again there are songs like Jealousy that is pure pop with a rock edge but not overly sweetened (more Springfield and less Springsteen). I like the several straight rockers like What You Do and Don't Mean a Thing to Me. There is even an attempt to "ride" off with the motorcycle (bike) sound at the beginning of the disc (leading into RIDE with Me) and a "ride" back at the end as if the whole thing was a twelve song road trip. Nice job overall. Only the production quality kept me from rating Five stars. Worth a listen.
